Ignore the number on the scale or the inches on the measuring tape. Listen to your body.
Do your knees hurt? Try strengthening the muscles around them to support your knee joints.
Does your back hurt? Try squatting properly when lifting or doing core workouts that will support your abdominal and lower back muscles.
Do you feel heavy? Eat lighter foods like vegetables and fruits. Avoid pastas, breads, and carbohydrates that leave you feeling heavy.
Have you heard all of this before? That’s because it’s all true. Trust me. I’ve been skeptical about “working out my abs” because I wasn’t sure if it would really help reduce my pain. IT DOES! I’ve had all of the above pains and fixed them by doing just what I mentioned. It really does work if you commit to making a healthy lifestyle change. Once you commit, it’ll eventually turn into an every day routine.
What keeps me going? The phrase “JUST DO IT” comes to mind. Many times I don’t want to work out or eat healthy. In my mind, I yell at myself, “JUST DO IT! You’ll feel better!” And I do!
