Philanthropy

We believe it is important to give back to those in need and those who are struggling. Cross Life Ventures strives to better the lives of others in anyway we can. Building each other up and lending a hand is what makes our world turn. Between the years of 2020-2023, we gave back over $25,000 in services to empower those making a difference in our own community. Below are some of the philanthropy projects we have worked on.

During the year of 2020, Bucktail Medical Center reached out in need. They quickly needed a way to communicate with their community about the dangers of the Coronavirus. Working quickly with the BMC team, we were able to build them a website within 36 hours. We maintained their website throughout the pandemic and re-introduced a new streamlined website in the Sprin of 2023. We implemented a line of health communication within the western Clinton County, Pennsylvania area. The Greater Renovo Area Heritage Park is an organization focused on uniting, preserving, and promoting the history and culture of the Greater Renovo Area. In 2019, we began to work with the Heritage Park to help bring community pride to a small town area that believes in historical promise for the future. We were excited to extend our philanthropy services to Move This Town in June 2022. We helped them build an online presence through a website, SEO, and social media. Move This Town is an annual music concert in Lock Haven, PA that promotes positivity through music for the whole family.

In March of 2022, we worked with a non-profit called Boxes of Hope. Boxes of Hope inspires breast cancer patients to overcome their journey by providing free boxes of hope care packages of items needed by patients. Boxes of Hope is located in Mill Hall, PA and is run by Traci Fotorny, a breast cancer survivor. Downtown Lock Haven (DLH) ensures economic stability for historical Downtown Lock Haven, PA located in Clinton County, Pennsylvania. We were given the privilege to create promotional videos during the winter holidays of 2021 for DLH. Then, in 2022, we again worked with Downtown Lock Haven to communicate all downtown happenings through their website. We have been very excited for this opportunity to help Lock Haven, PA grow as a community and provide help in building up Lock Haven’s economy. Learn more about Downtown Lock Haven.

Lock Haven Shoe Bank gives back in a very special way. They provide free, new shoes to children in need. Eligible children are able to come in once a month to the store in Lock Haven, Pa, and receive a free pair of new shoes or winter boots along with a free pair of socks. In 2021, we were honored to have worked with a giving organization such as the Lock Haven Shoe Bank that helps protect everyone’s feet.

In 2020, we worked with Heroes & Horses to help them build a new website. In Mackeyville, Pennsylvania, Heroes & Horses improves the lives of veterans through connection with horses. Horses offer mind, body, and soul healing. We believe it is important to honor our veterans before, during, and after deployment and offered our services to help a veteran organization that helps veterans. Learn more about Heroes & Horses.

Millbrook Playhouse, like many small town theaters, was struggling to keep its doors open durning the time of the Coronavirus in 2020. We worked with Millbrook to build them a newer, user-friendly website that had capability for virtual shows to take place on. Millbrook was able to weather the storm and is now back on stage for all to enjoy.
