How do I scan a QR code?
Depending on the mobile device that you use, (smartphones, tablets, etc.) will depend on how to scan a QR code. However, the basic concept of how to scan QR codes is the same regardless of your mobile device. Here are a few simple steps to scan QR codes:
- Open your camera on your mobile device.
- Point your camera at the QR code and wait for a notification to appear on your screen. This notification will ask if you want to open the code in your phone internet browser.
- When the notification appears, press it and the QR code link will open in your phone browser.
There used to be a number of phone apps to download that would help you open QR codes, but those have since become obsolete now that your camera can scan and pick up a code.
